Chocolate brownies are undoubtedly one of my favourite types of cake. Finding the perfect brownie recipe can be very challenging due to everyone liking something different. I love nuts so i am going to share my Chocolate Brownie cake with Walnuts recipe.

In my opinion this cake hits the spot just right, Its neither to cakey, nor too fudgy. The main reason why I love this particular recipe is that it is downright simple to bake. Admittedly, plain chocolate brownie cake is nice. But the ordinary taste eventually bores me when I tend to consume to much (often.)

This chocolate brownie with walnuts recipe is going to give the cake a crunchy feeling which is nice to chew. While the chocolate will give a cakey texture without it being too dry. The walnuts will provide extra flavour and structure to an already delicious recipe. This particular blend of ingredients is very versatile If you are not a fan of walnuts, you can always swap them out with peanuts, cashews or even pecans.

    • 1 medium oranage
    • 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
    • 100g granulated sugar
    • 1 Tsp ground cloves
    • 4 Cups water

    When using this homemade apple cider recipe, i sieve the final product to or 3 times to ensure there are no bits.

    How to make Homemade Apple Cider

    Step 1

    Wash the apples and cut them into quarters. Peel the oranges and place the segments with the chopped apples into the slow cooker.

    Step 2

    Add cinnamon, ground cloves, sugar and water into the cooker. Ensure that there is enough water to cover the fruits.

    Step 3

    Turn on the slow cooker and leave on a medium heat for 5 to 6 hours. stirring occasionally.

    Step 4

    After approximately 5 hours the fruits will be very soft. Mash them together with a large wooden spoon to squeeze out any remaining flavors inside the fruits.

    Step 5

    Cook for a further 45 minutes to 1 hour on a low heat

    Step 6

    Use a fine sieve to remove all of the chunks from the apple cider when transferring from the slow cooker to a pitcher
